From "The Boxer" to Coates Crates & Freight
Founded in 1979 by Larry Coates as "The Boxer" to serve Utah's air freight and trucking industries, our company has evolved while maintaining our commitment to quality and service.
In 1985, we expanded our services to support businesses shipping equipment out of state. Later renamed BoxPac Inc. in 2005, we became a trusted leader in the industry, handling notable projects including Utah's 2002 Winter Olympics bid, the Cathedral of the Madeleine renovation, and the transport of archaeological treasures.
Today, led by Trent Coates, we continue our legacy as Coates Crates & Freight, focusing on oversized, fragile, and high-value items for both commercial and residential clients.
